To nominate a student  for the 2009 Junior Committee

Please send us an email,  with your interest to participate in the 2009 Laurel Student Committee to committee@thelaurelball.com

A few things to include:
 
 Please list the school and the grade you will be attending in September '09.

The 2009 committee members will be represented by sophomores, juniors, and seniors attending high school. We welcome public and private school students to come together and produce a fun event for their peers while participating and learning more about local charities that benefit other children. 

 Nominations for the Junior Committee have to be in writing.

These nominations can be from individual students, please include your grade and school, a brief on why you are interested in being part of this effort,  and one of your parent's email

 We welcome parents to nominate their children, teachers to nominate their students, and graduating seniors to nominate a friend from your school, or a sibling to take your place. 

 Please keep in mind, the junior committee is open for your participation, but we do hope you will indeed participate in some of the process, and learn about each year's annual effort. This involves responding to the Overseer's emails and attending two meetings, one in the spring and one in the fall. Location and dates to be announced by May 09.

 VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:  if you have been part of the junior committee in the previous year, it does not mean you are automatically part of the upcoming new committee, without letting us know. You must send in your interest in writing and simply state you are nominating yourself to be on the committee again.
